Turning Every Choice Into a Win for the Planet

Less Waste. Less Water. Less Energy. More Future.

Every project is an opportunity to make a positive impact — from sourcing eco-friendly materials and supporting local artisans, to reducing waste and choosing suppliers who share our values. In addition, part of our profits go toward community and environmental give-back projects, so the spaces we design don’t just look good, they do good too.

Planting trees with every project is a vital step toward restoring the balance between the built environment and the natural world. Trees help absorb carbon dioxide, support biodiversity, and improve air and soil quality, directly countering the environmental impact of construction and design. By integrating reforestation into our work, we not only create beautiful, functional spaces but also invest in a healthier planet for future generations.

Planting trees

Measuring our carbon footprint is essential to holding ourselves accountable and minimizing our environmental impact. It allows us to identify the emissions generated throughout our design process—from material sourcing to installation—and make informed decisions to reduce them. By tracking our footprint, we ensure that our commitment to sustainability is not just a philosophy, but a measurable and continually improving practice that supports a healthier planet.

Carbon footprint

Managing waste with every project is crucial to reducing the environmental burden of landfills. Construction and renovation can generate significant waste, much of which is recyclable or reusable. By carefully planning deconstruction, repurposing materials, and choosing low-waste solutions, we minimize what ends up in the landfill. This not only conserves natural resources but also supports a circular economy.

Waste management

We believe that everyone deserves access to a beautiful, healthy home. As part of our commitment to giving back, we dedicate a number of projects each year to supporting communities in need through thoughtful, sustainable design.

GIVE-BACK PROJECTS

Conserving water and energy in your home is essential not only for reducing utility bills but also for minimizing your environmental footprint. By integrating energy-efficient lighting, appliances, and smart water-saving fixtures, homeowners can lower their resource consumption while contributing to the fight against climate change and water scarcity. Every conscious choice, from insulation to low-flow taps, helps create a healthier home and a more sustainable future for our planet.

GIVE-BACK PROJECTS

Sustainable spaces for the Old Brewery Mission

We had the privilege of designing two pavilions for the Old Brewery Mission, creating safe, healthy, and welcoming spaces for those experiencing homelessness. These “Give Back” projects allowed us to bring sustainable, thoughtful design to communities that need it most.

We’re always mindful when choosing materials and finishes for our projects, but there are so many ways we can make an impact. From planting trees to supporting our community with our give-back projects, we’re always striving to create a positive impact beyond just creating beautiful spaces. Sustainability is an ongoing intention that guides every choice we make.

SUSTAINABLE INTERIOR DESIGN MENTORSHIP

For interior designers who want to make an impact

Sustainability is the future of design, and interior designers play a vital role in shaping a healthier planet. Sustainable design not only supports global efforts to combat climate change, but also promotes healthier, more mindful living environments. As the demand for greener spaces grows, interior designers have a powerful opportunity—and responsibility—to lead the way toward a more sustainable future.

Mentorship

Alongside my design projects, I also mentor interior designers who want to integrate sustainability into their design practice.

Through my mentorship, you’ll receive guidance on integrating sustainable practices into your projects, including:

  • How to source responsibly

  • How to choose healthier materials

  • How to design with longevity in mind

  • How to find vendors who share the same values

  • How to work with contractors who don’t know about healthy, sustainable design

  • Waste management strategies

  • Water & energy saving strategies

  • How to talk to your clients about sustainable design
